Staff and Administrative employees must successfully complete an introductory period of three months at the start of their employment at Lesley University. The introductory period is a time for you to acclimate to your job and a time for the University to assess your skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of your job.
Under certain circumstances the introductory period may be extended for an additional three months if you cannot perform the essential functions of your job. In the event that you cannot perform the essential functions of your job, the University may, at its discretion terminate your employment.
Paid time off accrues but may not be used during this period except for extreme circumstances.
On occasion, certain positions will be advertised on-campus that will be posted only to internal candidates (current Lesley University employees). These positions will be posted for a minimum of five days. To apply for these positions, please send your cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
